Tenuta La Romana was a farmhouse of the XVIII° century now completely restructured with care and respect of the original architecture in order to offer a delightful, unforgettable stay to our guests. In the heart of the beautiful area just recognised Unesco heritage.
The Estate is situated in a beautiful panoramic position among the hills of Langhe and Monferrato. The structure is surrounded by the green of 40 hectares of vineyards with a lake, ideal places for relaxing walks on foot, or tour in mountain bike. Here it’s easy to forget the bustle of the city centre, relax and rediscover that genuineness that is so important to restore yourself…
Our Tenuta has spacious rooms, Superior, Junior Suites, Deluxe and Family Suites, all endowed with modern comforts and elegantly furnished.
Breakfast is served with the most excellent products of our country: yogurt, butter, handmade jam and honey, fruit juices and fresh fruits, corn flakes, fresh bread and brioches, local cheeses as “robiola”, salami and ham, local biscuits as “amaretti” and varied local cakes as “torta di nocciole”.
You can delight yourself with lunches and dinners at the restaurant “Piccola Torre”, located inside the estate.
The new management of the chef Fiore Grillo will offer traditional Piedmontese dishes and seafood dishes…all seasoned with a warm and professional welcome and a wide range of wines from the area.
The stay in our farm holiday offers the possibility to enjoy numerous sport activities and leisure, both in our Tenuta and in accommodation facilities.
Guests can relax at the poolside and enjoy a mountain bike itinerary through the vineyards or in a natural park. At our lake, you can have fun practicing no kill fishing.
Outdoor activities are in a position of prominence: laboratories on essential oils, felt, ground, water, air, fire, trekking, eco-trekking, surviving. You can experience something unique and unforgettable, getting back the connection with nature.

- visit of the historical cellars in Canelli, real underground “cathedrals” now Unesco heritage where thanks to particular and constant conditions of temperature and humidity wines and spumante are perfectioned, as in the past.
- visit of many other cellars with wine tasting of: Nizza, Moscato D’ Asti, Dolcetto, Barbera, Barolo, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo and famous distillery Berta
- visit of laboratories of local production of: amaretti di Mombaruzzo, robiole di Roccaverano DOP, Mulino Marino (the only mill in Piemonte that grinds with natural stones).
- cultural activities in cities like Asti, Alba and Acqui Terme; visit of the meaningful places for Cesare Pavese, who wrote about them in the novel “ La Luna e i Falò”. Literary tours about Pavese, Fenoglio, Lajolo, Arpino
- visit castles in Langhe, Monferrato and Roero to discover the historical, artistic and architectural residences present in our territory.
- visit traditional museums: The Taste Museum of Nizza Monferrato, Sugar Museum, Museum of Farmers and Ancient Prints
- walking around guided by professional figures in parks: Riserva Naturale Speciale di Valle Andona, Valle Botto and Val Grande and Riserva Naturale Speciale della Val Sarmassa. Every park has protected areas characterized by beautiful flora and fauna.

More, we can organize relax-days at Terme di Acqui, shopping days in the Outlet of Serravalle Scrivia, golf days, or a hot-hair balloon experience. You can rent quad, scooter, vespe, segway or simply ride a horse, to explore as you prefer the beauty of our territory.
